Parents- Key Stakeholders

The Societies believe that the parents are the important stakeholders of welfare residential educational institutions. The Societies encourage parents to maintain close ties with schools and teachers to share and discuss children’s academic progress and school development plans. Quest and Impact programmes are organized to bridge the gap between the teachers and the parents. As part of the ‘Quest’ programme, the teachers visit the native village of their students to have a tete-a-tete with the parents to understand the socio-economic background of families of students and the diverse ecosystems in which they were brought up. The ‘Impact’ programmes are organized at school level wherein parents are invited at the end of the every term examination as they constitute the important stakeholders of the Society. Interactive sessions for the parents are conducted by eminent psychologists as part of the Impact programme.
